Tastily Designed Whisky Web Sites

As an enjoyer of whisky, and a web designer/developer, I though I'd combine the two passions and do a review of the best designs in whisky web sites, focusing solely on the design of the web site (rather than its navigational and functionality).

What did I find? Plenty of rubbish of course, but also lots of nicely designed sites - lots of dark colours, browns and oranges as would befit the industry, but also a few sites that went with clean, white colours and did it well. There also seemed to be alot of Flash web sites - slow loading, difficult to navigate as is often the case with these sites. These Flash sites would also suffer in ranking well with Google because of the greater difficulty it has indexing them - but I've included a few on my top list based on their design alone.
